COUNSELING/HYPNOTHERAPY/LIFE COACH STOP DRINKING HYPNOTHERAPY The word hypnosis comes from the Greek word hypnos, which means “sleep.” However, a person in hypnosis is not asleep, but in a very relaxed state, which allows the hypnotherapist to guide the individual to the underlying root causes and solutions to their particular issues. QUIT SMOKING LIFE COACH Many people come to me because they are floundering, without purpose, basically lost... and need a direction. That's where my BLUEPRINT FOR LIFE comes in. Using a combination of tools, techniques, and concepts, I help individuals plot out a lifestyle change that will get them on a road to... being and becoming the person they want to be. LOSE WEIGHT “I am so excited that I was led to this class. I am in the process if immense transformation right now and gearing up to go "bigger" in my life, so this class feels like it is going to get me in shape in more ways that one, and truly help in the healing of some chronic physical issues of mine, getting me fully on the path of wellness. Also, since I am a professional bodyworker, I am so grateful to have someone else to refer my clients to, to assist them in their healing process. I used to teach creative music and movement to children, and the exercises reminded me of stuff I would teach the children about exploring their bodies, pushing their limits.“ Katelon T. Jeffereys “Hi Nickolas. When I came to you I was clearly distressed, dealing with a difficult emotional experience. Through working with you I gained valuable insights I could put in to action. For example, the concept of "act as if" as a tool to managing the little voice in my head that likes to indulge in disempowering ruminations. And your insistence that it's time for me to stop siting on the fence in relationship - to not give just 50% looking for 50% from a partner - to really go for it, if that is what I want in life. This has inspired me in my current relationship to play all out and see if we can create something great together. That possibility is very exciting! And of course, the fantastic stretching and breathing work we did together. I have really taken this on, doing the full 1 hour workout at least once per week, and incorporating parts of it daily in my workouts. I feel more limber, stronger, fit. And my bad shoulder is getting stronger and releasing the pain every day. I thank you much for that! I am very glad our paths crossed in life. I look forward to working together again soon.“ Marc Gimbel “Having tried everything I know of to get my life on track, without any real hope of solving my issues, I came upon Nickolas Vassili through a friend who recommended him. As I said, I didn't have much in the way of hope, but was I ever in for a surprise! It took him only a few sessions to get me rolling on a completely different path in life. I'm not completely cured. But the difference is huge. I'm actually laughing again. That's something I haven't done in years.” Victor Morse Depression It doesn’t Exist Review Upon reading early chapters of “Depression: It Doesn’t Exist”, one thing became very clear to me. It was as if Nick Vassilli was privy to understanding everything that happened in my family. I’ve had the fortunate and unfortunate task of being raised by a mother whom has suffered through a childhood of abuse at the hands of a dysfunctional family. She graduated to an adult with major drug problems of the ‘Illegal” kind. From there she has been cast aside by a society that believes in prescribing as many kinds of “legal” drugs as necessary to keep individuals in a catatonic state and therefore no longer “depressed”. My mother no longer has a strong will to survive or to even be a part of “normal” society. Her daily struggles of just waking up in the morning are enough to send her into a warped state of mind that eats at her very soul. When Nick told me the title of his new book, I didn’t get it. How can “depression not exist”? I’ve seen my entire family succumb to “Depression” and they have the medical industry backing up their claims. After reading through chapter after chapter I became very angry with the Pharmaceutical companies and doctors. She has been led to believe that the only solution to her current mental state is to be doped up. One life changing thought that was expressed by Nick was that my anger is ok, and it’s natural. It’s the repression of these normal emotions and the combination of drug dependency that has our country in a very bad place. After all I was raised to believe that anger meant punching a wall, slapping and hitting someone, or cursing someone to death. My anger increased after every chapter because my mother never had a fair chance. She was cast aside by family and by our government that we depend on to give us the best professional care possible. Recently I visited my mother to find her with scabs all over her arm. She thought bugs were in her arms and she picked at them for days. She was crying, hadn’t eaten, slept well, or ventured out of the house in days. I immediately explained to her that she was ‘trapped in her thoughts” and that her overwhelming problems were actually non-existent. Thank god she understood and snapped out of her funk within minutes of our conversation. Our next step was to see her therapist. After her appointment, which lasted 5 minutes at the most. He proceeded to “up” her medication, which by the way she has six different kinds!! My recent experience coupled with all the accurate information and solutions for a “depressed” state of mind found in “Depression: it doesn’t exist”, has given me a newfound hope. I’m looking forward to reading each chapter to my mother, and helping her dissect each piece of information. Then we can implement the strategies outlined to help get her on track to beating her dependency on anti-depressants and the rest of the medication that was prescribed for the side effects. Thank you Nick Vassilli, I’m going to buy numerous copies of “Depression: It Doesn’t Exist” and hand them out to all my friends and family that are as confused as I once was about Depression. "Nick Vassili is a gifted counselor who combines empathy and patience with an instinct for focusing on the key areas that can bring genuine progress to his clients. He then works with the individual in these areas first, challenging those being counseled to confront their pivotal issues with him to bring clarity and forward movement. Nick's process is not always comfortable but it brings real results and it brings them quickly. In short, Nick understands how people really work, devoid of the psycho babble and professional dogma that other approaches are often burdened with. Nick helped me tremendously when I needed it and I would recommend him unhesitatingly to anyone seeking counseling." "I went to Nickolas Vassili after not knowing what else to do with an emotional obsession that for years subjected me to a deep state of depression. I recognized that he could help me, immediately after his first evaluation. Nickolas shares the tools to heal people suffering from different types of ailments, physical, psychological, psychosomatic. He really understands human behavior. I learned a lot about myself from his honest feedback. Nickolas' counseling is direct and frank, but he is also profoundly patient and compassionate. As a hypnotist, Nickolas is gifted, his voice and his method took me to places i have not been before. Though, healing takes constant and mindful work, I can gratefully say, i am out of the hole, without the use of drugs, thanks to Nickolas' treatment. The tools to alleviate suffering and to improve the quality of life do work if taught and used properly!" |
