Besides his many decades of stage and motion picture experience, N. V. honed his speaking skills before live audiences and television cameras during the 1960s and ‘70s, when he was a well-known advocate against drug abuse.
    N. V. frequently appeared as an adversary to such notable personalities as Allen Ginsburg, who later instructed his agent to “never book an appearance with that man again”—because this anti-drug advocate turned Ginsburg’s devoted audience in his favor.
    Now he sets his sights on becoming America’s healthcare guru.
